Background

Where ZWEVY comes from.

ZWEVY was born out of Dream Unit, a space and community built around creativity, culture and connection in the centre of Amsterdam. Through Dream Unit, we became surrounded by a growing network of stylists, photographers, creative directors, designers, producers, artists and freelancers.

Over time, we noticed the same challenge returning again and again: finding the right creative people for projects was fragmented, informal and unnecessarily difficult. At the same time, many talented creatives struggled with visibility, structure, reliable bookings and access to the right network. Most opportunities still move through private circles, word of mouth and scattered communication.

ZWEVY was created as a response to that gap. The vision is to build a curated platform where creative freelancers and professional clients can connect in a more structured, trusted and culturally aligned way. Not a cold marketplace: a carefully built network that values both creative quality and professional execution.

Dream Unit laid the cultural and creative foundation. ZWEVY is the next step: translating that real-world network and experience into a platform for the creative industry.
